Jen Tanguay, LMT, Massage Therapist
![Picture](/uploads/1/1/2/2/112231805/published/jen-t-headshot.jpg?1715893594)
Jen has a personal affinity for healing with massage in her own life. Believing and trusting in the body’s innate ability to heal has always been fascinating to her, so becoming an LMT simply felt like second nature. After having 5 children move through the household, she decided it was time to take her love of personal healing knowledge to the next level with massage therapy.
Western and Eastern medicines can seem like worlds apart but she hopes to help bridge that gap and encourage clients to seek the benefits of both working together. Recovery from accidents, pregnancy massage and repetitive motion injuries can sometimes require multiple visits and she loves creating a lasting rapport with everyone she meets. Jen believes taking care of one’s physical body is one small but very powerful part of a more complete and well-lived life and she loves being a part of helping folks heal.
Holistic nutrition, a healthy lifetime love of nature, gardening and plenty of time traveling with her husband and family has contributed towards her great respect for life in all forms. Although most of her children are grown she still keeps very busy with 3 grandkids, 3 dogs and her pursuit of roaming the world whether by books, movies or actual travel.

Ashley Nelson, LMT, Massage Therapist
![Picture](/uploads/1/1/2/2/112231805/ashley-headshot_orig.jpg)
Ashley graduated from Portland’s East West College of the Healing Arts in 2019. She also worked as an Admissions Representative at East West for six years, meeting many aspirational massage therapist who in turn inspired her to embark on the same path. She has since found a great depth of purpose and honor in serving her community through safe, caring and thoughtful touch.
Her treatments are informed by a client's needs & comfort level. She incorporates Neuromuscular Therapy & Trigger Point therapy in assessments and treatments and is drawn to treating pain patterns three-dimensionally and helping rehabilitate injuries and imbalances. She believes in holding space to move vital life force energy (often called Qi) while holding a zen container for the nervous system and whole being. This approach weaves traditionally “Western” and “Eastern” modalities together in harmonic duality - all in service to greater peace in her client's body, mind, and spirit. Training in Thai Massage and Hawaii’s traditional Lomi Lomi massage enhance her treatments with full-body flow, rhythm, facilitated stretch, and joint mobilization. Hot towels and hot stones are used to provide further therapeutic benefits.
Ashley values a balanced life and spends her time outside her practice with her beloved partner and young daughter. She is an avid reader and listener of books and podcasts, always seeking expansion and growth. Her family of three (plus two dogboys) can usually be found playing outside or engaging in The Arts of some kind.

Jené graduated from East West College for the Healing Arts in 2017. Kiri Benedict, LMT, Massage Therapist
![Picture](/uploads/1/1/2/2/112231805/published/kiri-headshot.jpg?1719266237)
For as long she can remember, Kiri has had an interest in how the body works and it's innate capabilities. From dance to snowboarding and hiking to pushing her own body to the limits in the military, she is no stranger to seeking out her own self-care and knows the benefits massage can provide.
After hanging up her military boots for the final time in 2022, she knew it was time to pursue a career that involved taking care of others and assisting them in their self-care journey. She started her own healers journey by receiving her Esthetician license through the Aveda Institute of Vancouver which then began the final pull to attend East West College of the Healing Arts for Massage Therapy where she graduated in 2023. At East-West, she was introduced to how different modalities can meld together regardless of where they originate in the world. Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy are key components to her massage with an influence of Ayurvedic. She feels every body needs a session that is tailored to what someone is needing and is always meets her clients exactly where they are.
While not in the treatment room Kiri enjoys spending time in the sun reading a book and hanging out with her pups or cats. She is always expanding her knowledge so when she’s not reading for a hobby she’s working to improve her craft by diving into videos and podcasts. Her current endeavor is getting her Personal Training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She also loves to spend time with her young son, work out down at the local CrossFit gym and attempt to improve her green thumb while being in the garden.
