Justin Rinta, MA, LMHC, Mental Health Counselor
Justin Rinta is a licensed mental health counselor for the state of Washington. His therapy techniques include mindfulness, strength-based, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral and dialectical-behavioral. From 2012 to 2014, Justin earned his A.A in psychology while also playing collegiate baseball at Centralia College. He then transferred to Washington State University where he earned his B.S. in psychology. In 2018 he completed graduate school at Western Washington University where he earned his M.A. in rehabilitation counseling. Justin has over 5 years of counseling and clinical experience and has received over 3,000 hours of post-graduation supervision through CORE Health in Longview, WA.
Justin enjoys working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing concerns with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues and trauma. He has worked in a psychiatric hospital for children. He has also worked in a homeless teenage shelter for at-risk homeless youth. More recently, for the division of vocational rehabilitation helping adults who live with significant mental health and physical disabilities. His goal at Ripple is to assist clients to become the author of their own lives. He encourages his clients to pursue a holistic approach to health, incorporating exercise, proper sleep and nutrition, nurturing relationships and activities they enjoy.
