Hakomi

Mindfulness Assisted Self Discovery

We offer confidential telehealth Hakomi sessions with Somatic Coach and Certified Hakomi Practitioner, Brian Bump. This mindfulness-based somatic practice invites gentle awareness of sensations, emotions, physical habits, and thought patterns as they arise in the present moment in order to access, understand, and transform unconscious core beliefs. Rather than problem-solving or diagnosis, sessions focus on cultivating holistic self-awareness, self-trust, and a more integrated and embodied sense of being.

At Ripple, we believe Hakomi creates a transformative pathway to greater self -understanding and healing. This modality, rooted in the principles of nonviolence, mindfulness, organicity, mind-body holism, and unity, empowers people to feel more integrated within themselves by listening to and following the body’s inherent wisdom.

What Hakomi at Ripple Looks Like

Hakomi with Brian is compassionate guidance for tuning into the full spectrum of your inner experience, including body sensations, emotions, imagery, memories, and thought patterns.

You’ll learn to attend to these signals with curiosity and tenderness, better understanding their origins and current needs, and ultimately developing trust in them as your innate inner guidance system.

Hakomi complements talk therapy but often

reaches places that words alone cannot.
