Hakomi with Brian Bump

Brian Bump
Certified Hakomi Practitioner
Brian is a Certified Hakomi Practitioner offering mindfulness-centered somatic guidance
to clients in Oregon and Washington. He completed his two-year intensive training through the Seattle Hakomi Education Network and continues to receive ongoing supervision and consultation from senior faculty and long-term mentors.
His work is grounded in more than two decades of mindfulness practice, which began in
his early twenties with formal contemplative training in esoteric Buddhism. It has since
deepened through ongoing multi-tradition spiritual inquiry and somatic-based personal
growth and healing. The transformative impact of these practices on his own life
inspired him to transition from his earlier careers as a multidisciplinary artist and
horticulturist to becoming a Certified Hakomi Practitioner.
As a neurodivergent adult with autism and ADHD, Brian integrates lived experience with
specialized training in nervous-system regulation and ADHD coaching. In addition to
working for Ripple, he co-owns Deep Work with his wife (where they offer Hakomi,
couples coaching, and spiritual guidance) and works for the state of Oregon as a
Personal Support Worker, supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities
in home and community settings.
Brian brings compassion and creativity, alongside practical, grounded tools, to help
clients cultivate safety and trust, guiding them to feel more fully, discover new
possibilities, and move toward greater freedom and inner peace.
